MY Knot Accountable
Renderings of original vessel (fore) and refit vessel. Enclosed pilot house and extended upper deck were realized by fiberglass stiffened panel construction. This technique saved cost, time and weight. 3D laser scan of vessel was used to develop refit plan.

Reverse Engineering
The rudder pictured was reversed engineered from a damaged original. The form was recreated in CAD and a shaped foam core CNC cut to reproduce. The shaft strut pictured is a new casting. The original struts were 3D scanned and modelled. New casting patterns were then prepared and CNC cut. Replacement struts were then cast from bronze. Engineering and process management provided by PDS for Ocean Pacific Marine.
